This Danforth gem recently moved to a larger location a few blocks from their original spot and added a second room to their operation. Known for its kid-friendly game design, Looking Glass Adventures offers immersive game design, rewarding storylines, and some real head-scratchers. They offer unlimited hints here meaning you can make your escape room as easy or as hard as you’d like.
#3 – Where Dark Things Dwell
You’ve never done an escape room like this before. Secret City Adventures teamed up with Black Creek to offer a completely immersive, totally interactive escape game that will have chills running down your spine. Set against the backdrop of Black Creek Pioneer Village at dusk, you and 5 close friends are on a mission to crack the puzzles and free the village from a cult’s curse—while masked cult members skulk in the shadows and track your progress. This massive game can accommodate up to 60 people—and you’ll be competing against the other teams to solve the riddles and save the town. A must-do in Toronto!
#4 – Escape From The 6
For escapers looking to get out of the city, check out Escape From the 6 in Mississauga. This large and brightly lit escape house offers two fun storylines both of which are kid-friendly. They have a spacious waiting area with games and a ping-pong table, suiting this escape game perfectly for parties and corporate events.
#5 – Escape Games
This is one of the largest escape game venues in North America, with six rooms spread out over its 10,000 square foot venue. Escape Games is one of the best for their attention to detail and their immersive escape rooms. But these rooms are not for the faint of heart—one of them even has an extreme content alert.
#6 – Trapped
This Markham escape room is taking escaping to a whole new level. Home to four distinct escape rooms, they offer a fifth which can only be unlocked after securing enough Trapped points. This escape game was one of Toronto’s first and to this day remains one of its best. Real Escape Game is known for superior game design, notoriously difficult puzzles, and high-quality sets.
